Bill Bomb

What better way to end a day at work other than receiving a bill of $300?

I know, extremely fantastic, isn’t it?

I thought my housemate wasn’t making sense when she said $300. It doesn’t help either that I have no idea of what sort of internet plan we’re currently on, so I have not the slightest clue how we’re charged.

From the looks of the bill, we’re given a data download quota. But in the bill, we’re charged per hour in excess of 800 hours used! Now, that doesn’t make sense at all! We have never breached the data quota. Are we now charged per MB downloaded or per hour?

Nobody seems to have a clue of what’s happening. The person who signed up for this plan wasn’t of much help either.

Damn, now I understand why some buddies of mine told me not to follow Internode. Apparently, when they do charge, it’s insane. Lucky me.

On another note, why are all my knuckles red? It’s been like that for a day now…It doesn’t hurt but I don’t like it being angry red all the time. Should I be worrying?

  2. Thanks, San! It's all cleared up now.

Turned out we were using a modem and router which counts as 2 logins. So, the second login will be charged as excess use on top of our quota. So, have to switch to a single machine (to ensure there's only one login on the one line at a time). Well, I was baffled at first but that's how it rolls, it seems.
